You know when you were little and afraid of the dark? You were sure that night light would stave off any monsters that might be lurking in the closet. Although that night light only covered 3 square inches, you felt safe. Even if it was an illusion.
Today I am thankful for those who are my night light.
For the bloggers who say we will not hide our children.
For the friends who include Boo in everything.
For the readers of this blog who become Boo’s biggest cheerleaders.
For the family who tells me to go with my gut.
For the coworkers who never, ever, make me feel guilty for taking time off for Boo.
For the teachers who believe in Boo and empower me.
For the therapists who give Boo the tools she needs to surpass any limitation a doctor might put on her.
For the doctors who listen when I say look at the whole child not just the one symptom.
For Abby who is Boo’s strongest advocate, most patient therapist and funniest teacher.
For every single person in my village who make this life so much easier than is ought to be.
Thank each and every one of you who are not my night light but my light house.
What a beautiful list! I love the header … are you changing it (because your last one was beautiful too) this one is adorable.

Thanks, Zoe. I changed over to Word Press and thought to update the photo. But you are right, I love the other one too 🙂

YAY! Not for the everso hard things which inspired the thankfuls and the silver linings, but that you have such a solid list of silver linings and that they DO make life easier. I’m glad you have good people around you 🙂
