If we were sharing a glass of wine, I would tell you this week has been better than last.

If we were sharing a glass of wine, I would thank you for “getting me” when Bridget was sick. Knowing there was one other person who heard she vomited and immediately got nervous because of her history made me feel less alone. (By the way, it was a common cold that of course got her reflux up–but no ER visit so we are counting it as a win)

If we were sharing a glass of wine, I would tell you that Jose Curveo’s ready to drink Margarita bottle is the next best thing to Pinot Grigio.

If we were sharing a glass of wine, I would tell you I am loving Bridget’s first grade teacher. She is including Bridget and making her the classmate and not the class pet.

If we were sharing a glass of wine, I would tell you that I look forward to our Saturday breakfasts like Trump looks forward to his next mistress.

If we were sharing a glass of wine, I would tell you I’m scared.  I’m watching Born this Way (which I LOVE in capital letters) but I am seeing my life in 20 years and I’m not sure I can be as accepting, patient and graceful as the parents on the show.

If we were sharing a glass of wine, I would tell you that next year when you stage a mini-Natick reunion at a half-marathon you better invite me. I just hope my old lady hips can take it.
