I do not consider myself a runner. I like to run. It helps my mental state and the state of my legs. But I am in awe of those who can run and not look like they need medical attention. When I race I look to these people to keep going, to know I can finish I just might not look pretty when I do. I hope one day to become a runner. One who runs and whose husband doesn’t offer to call the rescue for oxygen (true story).
The video below is a new inspiration to me. The first person with Down Syndrome to complete the New York City Marathon.
